Ancient architecture always seems to provoke us today with a feeling that it wasn’t made by man, but rather a form of human detached from our current perception. In our interaction with nature, it was moulded to fulfill our needs, using intellect and precision to create free-flowing forms in function and shapes, leaving the colors untouched. From this, came the mesmerizing stepwells that take us back to the days of old.
